I came across this Flickr Photostream of the Deep Ellum Tunnel in Dallas before it was demolished last year. I never had a chance to see it myself, but the paintings (er, graffiti) are really cool.

100 Fewer Billboards

This is good news! Apparently Mayor White has a plan to remove 800 billboards from the city streets by the end of this year. The 100th billboard was removed last Thursday. I’m glad to hear these eyesores are going away.

Driver Run Over by Police Car After Chase
