I’m currently road-trippin’ it, but thought I’d report in from the road. We stopped at a local truck stop outside of Rockwall. This place was amazing. In addition to a Starbucks (high class!) they sold cigarette lighter plug-in ovens and stoves. They also had sweatpants shorts that I almost bought (they were glorious). This place had everything.

Continuing the trend we reported early last week, gas prices have continued to fall. According to the AAA’s Daily Fuel Gauge Report, prices for regular unleaded gasoline peaked around July 14 thru 17, and have fallen ever since. This table summarizes the current prices:

This traffic light was beat up pretty bad, but still managed to keep functioning. The lens is broken, so you can see just a pinpoint of light emitted from the bulb. The best part, though, was the dangling red light that was still working as it was blown around by the wind.
